Desde la pandemia no he hecho nuevas publicaciones en mi sitio web. Pero para mantener la verdad orgánica que sucede en mi vida, desde que me convertí en mi propio manager desde finales de noviembre de 2017, esto es lo que continúa en mi carrera profesional como compositora y música, además de cantar y tocar dos de mis canciones originales con la orquesta Pink Martini aclamada internacionalmente a quien estoy infinitamente agradecida por toda mi interacción y exposición en el mundo ahora mismo en el tiempo presente.
Mi nuevo álbum se llama TE ESPERABA y va a ser un álbum en el género de Tradicional Mexicano. Deben saber que este género cubre una serie de sub-géneros de mis favoritos como la (Banda y Norteño (con instrumentos de viento y ritmos muy innovadores con ahora voz y típicos en el área del Norte de México. En estas innovaciones se usa el acordeón, bajo sexto, saxofón, tololoche y tambora. El tradicional Mariachi que cubre otra gama de sub-géneros como los boleros, sones, huapangos y las pegadoras rancheras. Estos géneros que están dominados por el sexo masculino, nos ha sido muy duro para incursionar a la mujer compositora, pero no imposible. ¡No tengo ningún miedo! Porque si me gusta a mí y les gusta a ustedes, es todo lo que me importa. Con el apoyo de la audiencia, junt@s abriremos la puerta para muchas otras jovencitas compositoras que vienen a la escena. Yo misma estoy produciendo mi propio álbum con músicos oriundos del estado de Sinaloa en México y no puedo terminar de expresar cuán agradecida estoy y me siento por el apoyo que me han brindado estos músic@s talentosísimos.

Since the pandemic I have not made new posts on my website. But to keep the organic truth that happens in my life, since I became my own manager since the end of November 2017, here is what continues in my professional career as a songwriter and musician, besides singing and playing two of my original songs with the internationally acclaimed Pink Martini orchestra to whom I am infinitely grateful for all my interaction and exposure out in the world right now in the present time.
My new album is called TE ESPERABA (I WAS WAITING FOR YOU) and it’s going to be a mixed album with my own interpretations and mostly my own compositions in the Traditional Mexican genre. You should know that this genre it’s an umbrella and covers a series of sub-genres of my favorite sub-genres such as (Banda and Norteño (with wind instruments and very innovative rhythms with now vocals since the 90’s and typical in the Northern area of Mexico. In these innovations instruments like the accordion is used , bajo sexto (12th string guitar), saxophone, tololoche (upright bass), tuba, and tambora (snares and cymbals). I will also include the traditional Mariachi that covers another range of sub-genres such as boleros, sones, huapangos and the famous rancheras. These genres, which are hugely dominated by the male sex, have been very hard for us, the female composer to penetrate, but not impossible. I’m not afraid at all! Because I like it, and if you like it, that’s all that matters to me, and with the support of the audience, together we will keep opening the door for many other young female composers to come. I am producing my own album with musicians from the Mexican state of Sinaloa and I cannot express how grateful I am for the support that I’ve received from these men and women.
