Hailed as the Pacific Northwest’s premier Rock en Español/Bilingual band, the members of No Passengers are passionate about the music they create together. No Passengers began in 2009 in Portland, Oregon with Edgar Baltazar/Guitar, Jorge Rodriguez/Bass & vocals, Edna Vazquez/Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar, and Eddie Esparza/Drums. Since that time the band has earned a loyal following across the Pacific Northwest. Each member of the group brings their own influence and different styles of music that ranges from rock to mariachi and as a band they have created a new flavor of rock in the NW that is both bilingual and original. Building a repertoire was the first priority of the band which led them into the recording studio in 2010 to record a 5 song EP at Toadhouse records. The band quickly licensed three of their songs to the music licensing company Killer Tracks, which is a subsidiary of Universal Music. As a result, their songs were featured on the Animal Planet TV show “Tanked”. In Winter 2013 No Passengers flew to Los Angeles, CA. to perform two of their songs for an internationally televised program on “Estrella TV”. Upon returning home the group started writing material for their debut self-titled full length CD which they released in late September 2013. During this period No Passengers supported such notable artists as Molotov. After playing several shows in support of the release, No Passengers went their separate ways in early 2014.
